Our project
ilios was born from our passion for Crete, its history, its traditions and especially our friends Georgios, Litsa, Dimitri, Maria, who have welcomed us for more than 20 years. Designing shoes in Greece is a way to pay tribute to the country that saw the birth of sandals and that we consider as our adopted country.
Our commitments
Selecting the best local craftsmen allows us to create quality, durable and timeless sandals. By working closely with our tailors, we support the local economy and help preserve the cultural heritage of Greek leather craft techniques.
Manufacturing
Each pair of sandals is handcrafted in a family-run workshop in Chania, Crete, from locally sourced leathers tanned on site without chemical additives.
